What is a special day?
A special day aims to provide you with a break from the realities of living with a serious and life-threatening illness. At a time of uncertainty, spending quality time with loved ones on a special day can help restore a sense of normality, boost morale and create precious memories for the future. Every special day is of your choosing and is tailored to meet your needs - offering an uplifting and positive experience to be shared with a partner, parents, siblings, children or close friends.
We're here to help you and your loved ones create an unforgettable day. Willow will take care of all the details and cover all agreed costs.
If you are aged between 16 and 40 (inclusive), meet our eligibility criteria and are resident in the UK, you can apply for a special day.
Further information on the charity's service and special days can be found on the official application form: Special Days application form
Please note that all applications must be made on an official and up-to-date application form. Applications must be completed in full and signed by the applicant, their responsible companion and a medical professional involved their care and treatment.
