Heston Blumenthal is the chef and owner of The Fat Duck, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant voted Best Restaurant in the UK in 2007, and Best Restaurant in the World in 2005. Blumenthal is famous for his scientific approach to food and has been described as a culinary alchemist for his innovative style of cooking. With only a weeks worth of experience, and a short time in a restaurant, Heston is a self-taught chef.
