Teapot by Pauline McLynn (Mrs Doyle, Father Ted)
Pauline McLynn is an Irish actress, comedian and author, best known for playing Mrs Doyle on the Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted. Although only in her thirties when playing Mrs Doyle, makeup was used to make her look 20 years older to fit the character's profile. She received a British Comedy Award for her performances in 1995. Mrs Doyle was famous for her refrain: 'Will you have a cup of tea?...go on, go on, go on.'
In 1999, she appeared in the film adaptation of Angela's Ashes. She has also appeared in Jennifer Saunders' Jam & Jerusalem.
