Special Days at home are a range of memory-making activities to support seriously ill young men and women who are shielding and unable to travel. We are working with a number of suppliers to offer a range of Covid friendly Special Day that can be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of their own homes.
Activities include hot tub spa days, gaming van experience, themed afternoon teas, family photo shoots, movie nights with a giant screen and take out and many other personalised activities.
At-home Spa Day
"Oh my goodness! It was incredible we cannot thank you enough!! The hot tub company were great and nothing was too much trouble, they did a great job. It really was lovely. Thank you again."
At Home Photoshoot
"Covid 19 impacted on our Wedding Day and took away our chance to spend precious time with our family and friends. I hoped our Special Day would enable us to make some special memories that my husband and daughter would remember forever.
My Special Day made me feel less isolated from my loved ones and my normal life.
It was a positive contribution to my quality of life, a much-welcomed distraction from my diagnosis and treatment and gave me renewed energy for my loved ones and myself. It was the perfect opportunity to share precious memories that we will cherish Photography by Jennifer King Photography
Afternoon Tea at Home
"I am absolutely amazed by my Horrid Henrey themed afternoon tea, I appreciated it so much it was the best day of my life xx."
“Well, what a great night we had. Honestly. Connor and Ben's faces when they saw the gaming van was brilliant! They absolutely loved it and came out buzzing. They were over the moon with their goody bags. Dawn and I loved the film and it made us laugh lots. The Dominos pizza was amazing - everyone got plenty and were very happy. The board games were actually perfect and we could not choose which was our favourite, I think we laughed most playing Dobble! I cannot thank you enough.
Something that cancer has taught me is to appreciate the little things and time with people who make you feel happy. Thanks for providing us with something we will always remember after having such a tough year."
