Dear Willow supporter
In light of the latest government guidance, I wanted to write to you as a valued Willow supporter about the very difficult decision we have recently taken to temporarily put Special Days on hold.
Right now, because of these unprecedented circumstances, our team of dedicated Day Makers are talking to people whose Special Day will sadly now have to be postponed.
But despite all the current uncertainty we are sure of one thing…
Willow needs our amazing supporters more than ever.
We currently have nearly 700 seriously ill people on hold, all waiting for their own Willow Special Day and a chance to make precious memories with their loved ones. Willow receives no funding from government, so we desperately need your help to ensure that we can fulfil every one of these Special Days, and resume taking applications from hundreds more seriously ill young adults.
Over the past 20 years, Willow has created over 17,000 Special Days thanks in large part to the efforts of our amazing fundraisers. We love meeting all of you at our Willow events, but unfortunately we have now had to cancel or postpone many of the activities we had planned for this year.
Right now we are all unsure of the what the future holds. But we know that so many seriously ill people rely on Willow for a much needed time out from the toughest fight of their lives.
We hope that, in the absence of our regular fundraising opportunities in the coming months, you might choose to make a donation to ensure we can continue to fulfil much needed Willow Special Days.
Yours sincerely
Jonathan Aves
