Willow was selected for a four-week nationwide advertising campaign with JCDecaux, one of the UK’s leading out-of-home advertising companies! Willow was chosen through their community channel, which offers free advertising space to charities, and this exciting opportunity sees our charity message displayed on digital billboards in city centres and on roadsides across the UK.

Up against a host of other charities for the spot, Willow was selected, bringing our story to a guaranteed audience of 4 million people in towns and cities, and to people who may never have heard of us before. The campaign features beneficiary stories from Joe, Nichola and Niamh, whose lives have been touched by a Willow Special Day, break or treat. Their experiences and the moments they shared with their loved ones will now be seen by millions of people.
Joe, 24, from Peterborough, is living with Ewing sarcoma. He enjoyed a Special Break in Cornwall with his wife, Charlotte. Joe spoke about his experience, stating, “It was truly unforgettable. These moments are immeasurably meaningful and truly make a difference.”

Nichola said, “My Special Break was an absolutely fantastic experience, I was delighted to have been given the opportunity to spend time with my family in such a beautiful location and we made precious memories.” Meanwhile, Niamh told us, “In my treat box, there was such a range of fantastic, thoughtful items including luxury skincare products and lots of chocolates. The box was an amazing, carefully curated and lovingly packaged gift that reminded me of the kindness of others. Thank you, I am so very grateful and feel so loved.”

The campaign marks a significant step in Willow’s mission to reach new audiences and ensure that every seriously ill adult who is eligible for a Special Day or Special Break knows that Willow is there for them. We are incredibly grateful to JCDecaux for providing this platform through their community channel and for helping us share these powerful stories with the nation.
