Trusts and foundations
Willow works with many trusts and foundations who have chosen to support our seriously ill young adults.
Working closely with grant-making organisations, we are able to direct funding to your area of preference. Willow works across the UK, yet we can restrict your funding to a specific region or to beneficiaries with a specific condition or age range.
Some trusts have donated towards specific projects, which includes people living with rare diseases, beneficiaries living with a disability as a result of their diagnosis or young adults diagnosed with one of the less survivable cancers.
When choosing to support Willow, we will provide
- A dedicated contact in the trust team who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
- Timely reporting of how your donation has impacted the lives of seriously ill 16 – 40 year olds.
- An open invitation to visit our office and learn about how our Special Days team create our bespoke experiences.
However you choose to support us, you can be sure that your donations will go towards creating precious memories for seriously ill young adults and their families.

Our trust and foundation supporters
The Arsenal Foundation and Arsenal FC have been intrinsically linked with our charity for many years. We thank them for their long-term commitment and the many different ways in which they support Willow, including hosting Special Days at the Emirates, boosting charity retail shop sales with Arsenal stock and supporting Special Days through funding from the Foundation. Read about a heart-warming Special Day that helped create precious memories, which would not have been possible without the support of the Foundation here!
We are so grateful to have received the support of the John James Bristol Foundation for our work in Bristol over the last 10 years. As we receive referrals from medical professionals in every corner of the UK, and funding for cities is incredibly helpful. The John James Bristol Foundation have helped us provide a memorable Special Day experience for over 80 beneficiaries from Bristol.
The Clarkson Foundation has generously supported our work across England and Wales as one of the many inspirational causes they support globally. They are the charitable foundation of Clarksons, a leading provider of integrated shipping services.
The Hugh Fraser Foundation first supported our work in Scotland 10 years ago. Since then they have helped us to support over 400 seriously ill young adults from the country. Loyal support like this allows us to accept applications from Scottish beneficiaries and keep the momentum of our work in Scotland going.
Pink Ribbon have been a long-term supporter of our work, specifically giving quality time to young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer is the illness with highest incidence in our age group and therefore makes up a significant proportion of our work. Over the last five years, our supporters have helped to support over 1700 women living with breast cancer, and you can read one of their stories here.
With the support of Alexion Charitable Foundation, we have reached more young adults living with rare conditions and rare cancers than ever before. As proud recipients of Alexion’s ‘Rare Belonging’ grant programme we are passionate about helping the rare disease community for whom there is little other charitable support that simply focuses on quality of life. Here, you can read a story of someone with a rare disease that we have supported.
