Local football fans gathered outside our Stevenage charity shop on Thursday 17 April to meet some of the team from Stevenage FC. From shirt signings to selfies and baby cuddles, it was a memorable day for fans and a special moment for Willow.
Last year, the club announced Willow as their Official Charity Partner for the 2024/25 season and we’ve been working together ever since to make a difference for seriously ill young adults across the UK.
To help promote our Stevenage shop and raise awareness of our work, Stevenage FC organised a Willow shop takeover, where players visited the store to meet fans and encourage the local community to show their support by making purchases or donations.
Fans were thrilled to meet players Harvey White, Brandon Mason and Jake Forster-Caskey, who took time to chat with supporters and created a real buzz in the area.
The event helped draw new faces to the shop, raising awareness of Willow and the work the charity does.
A huge thank you to the team at Stevenage FC for their ongoing support and to everyone who came along on the day. If you missed the event, you can still visit our shop in Stevenage to shop, donate or volunteer – every purchase makes a difference.
