
Bob and Megs Wilson were joined by guests from the property sector at the annual Willow Shoot Day. Held on May 4 at the prestigious Royal Berkshire Shooting School, the fundraising event, in aid of national charity Willow, saw proceeds of more than £35,000 raised to help young adults living with serious illness.
The annual event is organised by Willow and supported by Paul White of Frogmore Property Company and Greg Nicholson, former Executive Director of CBRE. With enormous support from companies in the property, financial and legal sectors, the Willow Shoot Day is always a roaring success and has raised more than £585,000 for Willow since it began in 2008.
The sun which was shining brightly on the guests as they attended a day of clay pigeon shooting, before enjoying a champagne reception, lunch and auction. Stand sponsors included Levanter Developments. Exclusive auction prizes sold on the day included golf with Arsenal legend and sports broadcaster, Lee Dixon and a day of luxury at Henley Regatta. The sumptuous lunch was generously sponsored by law firm, CMS-CMNO.
To date, Willow has provided 15,000 Special Days for young adults diagnosed with a life-threatening condition such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis and Huntington’s disease.
