Willow Carol Concert

December 2, 2025

02/12/2025 – 7.30pm, St Albans Cathedral

Join us on Tuesday 2 December for the annual Willow Christmas Carol Concert in the beautiful, historical surrounds of St Albans Cathedral.

An evening of your favourite Christmas Carols sung by the spectacular Hertfordshire Chorus and Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School. This year we are joined by special guest – Lloyd Griffith.

Lloyd Griffith is a comedian, actor, presenter and classically trained singer.

Lloyd’s career on the stage actually started in church as a choirboy at St James’ Grimsby Parish Church. He then went on to study music at The University of Exeter whilst at the same picking up a number of scholarships and awards along the way, including a choral scholarship to Exeter Cathedral.

He moved to London to study singing and not only engages in solo recitals but can often be found singing in the choirs of Westminster Abbey and St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle or presenting shows on Classic FM. Lloyd’s love of singing and football combined in 2022 when he was asked to sing at various football matches following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, which included singing the national anthem before the Brentford v Arsenal game, live on Sky Sports.

The concert will also be followed by mince pies provided by Simmons Bakers . We hope you can join us!

If you would like to dedicate a bauble to a special someone at the concert, you can purchase a tribute bauble by clicking on the button below (available to buy until 11.59pm on Monday 1 December).
