Long-time Willow supporter, Teresa Curtis, celebrated raising over £100,000 for Willow at a cheque presentation at Belton Woods Hotel in Grantham on 22 July, marking 20 years of fundraising for the charity.

Teresa was joined by her partner, Mark, at the hotel, where she holds an annual fundraising ball for Willow.
Teresa began supporting Willow after losing her brother to cancer at the age of 42. After seeing Willow’s Life President, Bob Wilson, speaking about the charity on television, she felt inspired to get involved.
Teresa said:
“I lost my brother to cancer at a young age of 42. After seeing Bob (Wilson) on television talking about Willow, it touched my heart. Since that time, I have supported the charity with various fundraising events for 20 years, and raised a total of £121,756.42.
“I find it very rewarding knowing that I have contributed to the creation of Special Days which are precious for those affected and have hopefully brought unforgettable memories back into their lives during such a difficult time.”
We are so grateful to Teresa for her continued support over the last 20 years, helping Willow to create precious memories for seriously ill young adults across the UK.
