Not content with everything they’ve done so far (and it’s a pretty long list) the team at Red Letter Days are now taking on Willow’s Hertfordshire 100 cycle challenge for Special Days. Daniel tells us why:
“Since 2010, Red Letter Days has been working to raise funds and awareness for Willow’s very special cause.
Helping people make unforgettable memories is something we’re very proud of at Red Letter Days so we think a partnership with Willow is a perfect match.
We’ve taken part in the Willow 10K, hosted bake sales (and eaten lots of cake, too), organised events and, most recently, got involved with the amazing Stars on Canvas – and there’s no sign of us slowing down any time soon!
So, what’s next?
We’re delighted to announce that some of us will be dusting off our bicycles, donning our sports gear and taking part in Hertfordshire 100 this May to raise as much as we can for Special Days.
Our dedicated team of five keen cyclists will be taking on the challenge and pedalling as hard as they can for 100 miles (although there are 25 and 60 mile options, too). We’d love you to come down to Stanborough Park to cheer us on, soak up the atmosphere and join in our celebrations. There will be Red Letter Day cheerleaders in the crowd but we’ll need as much help as we can get in those final miles!
Stay tuned for progress updates, training tips and an official introduction to our team of cyclists. Or check out our JustGiving page.
From everyone at Red Letter Days, we’d like to wish each and every cyclist the very best of luck in all their training and fundraising efforts.”
