A round of golf with some of football’s sporting heroes has raised more than £21,000 for Willow. The prestigious Hanbury Manor Golf Club in Hertfordshire hosted the charity event, organised by two members, Chris Emery & Steve Watts. The pair were joined by football legends Martin Chivers, Micky Hazard, Ossie Ardiles, John Lacey, Brian Stein and Cliff Jones alongside many more guests.
Comedian and entertainer, Adger Brown, hosted guests during dinner following the golf. Adger, also a lively and hilarious auctioneer, auctioned a host of money can’t buy prizes including a private dinner with Bob Wilson and Martin Chivers, a fourball with former rugby player, Tim Stimpson, and some very special signed sporting memorabilia.
Plans are already underway for Hanbury Life Classic 2016.
