Willow returns to St Albans Cathedral for our 2022 Carol Concert

December 8, 2022

Willow was delighted to return to St Albans Cathedral on Tuesday 6th December for our annual Christmas Carol Concert.

It was fantastic to welcome supporters old and new to a very special event in the Willow calendar. This year’s concert took place on the day before the birthday of Anna, the daughter of our Life Presidents, Bob and Megs Wilson. Together they founded Willow in Anna’s memory, 23 years ago, after her death at the age of 31 from cancer.

The concert was a chance for supporters to come together, sing some festive songs, enjoy some incredible performances from local singers and choirs and place baubles of remembrance on the Willow Christmas Tree.

We were delighted to be joined by the Hertfordshire Chorus, the Enigma String Quartet and Willow beneficiary Eirra, who sang her latest single.

The concert is also an opportunity for Willow to raise much needed funds to ensure we can create more Special Days and Special Treats for seriously ill young 16-40 year olds.

Thank you to everyone who came along – and particular thanks to our friends at The Galleria, H&G Recruitment and Simmons for helping make this event possible. We look forward very much to seeing you all again next year!
