You can choose to tackle this solo or rally your crew and stream together. We are offering a free, bespoke Streaming for Willow t-shirt to the first 50 people who sign up and get a donation to their fundraising page.

Plan

Choose your date and get planning. You’ll need to decide which platform will be your stage for going live! (We recommend Twitch). Don’t forget to share on social media – you can use our promotional materials below to get the word out!

When can I stream?

Our campaign officially launches in October 2025, but the choice is yours! You can go live anytime that works for you. Maybe you’ll pick one big date for a main event, or challenge yourself with multiple streams throughout the campaign.

What should my fundraising target be?

You decide the target that feels right for you – we suggest starting off with £50. And remember, if you’d like tips or a boost along the way, just reach out and we’ll help maximise your fundraising.

Where does the money that I raise go?

Every pound you raise will make a real difference to seriously ill young adults across the UK. Your fundraising helps Willow create unforgettable Special Days and experiences, giving young people living with life-threatening conditions the chance to enjoy precious moments with their loved ones, away from the pressures of treatment and illness.

These experiences aren’t just about fun days out. They provide comfort, joy, and lasting memories at a time when they’re needed most. Thanks to your support, Willow can continue bringing light and hope to young adults and their families when life feels toughest.

Manchester Half Marathon 2025

Location: Manchester, UK 

Since its launch in 2016 the Manchester Half has received rave reviews from participants, thanks to its professional delivery, flat route and electric and welcoming Mancunian atmosphere around the course so whether you’re chasing a personal best or taking on the challenge of a half marathon for the first time, this is a fantastic option, taking place on Sunday 12 October 2025.

You can register to run for Willow for just £20 if you pledge to raise £300.

UK’s No 1 Series of treks & trail runs! Take on a challenge at your pace and fundraise for Willow! Whether along a stunning coastline or on trails through magnificent countryside, you’ll get full support all the way – including plenty of food & drink, medics & massage, camaraderie, a medal & T shirt – and an amazing sense of achievement.


With 20 events to choose from, and distance options ranging from 10 km up to the full100 km – there’s an Ultra Challenge waiting for you in 2026.

Manchester Half is the biggest of its type in the North West with over 10,000 runners taking on the incredible closed road flat route, taking place on Sunday 13 October 2024.

Lake District Challenge

Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th June 2025

Kendal, Lake District

Take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. Challenge basecamp is in Kendal, and it’s a 100km loop taking in a couple of tough hills, the Garburn Pass, historic Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests & nature reserves – with some stunning views en-route, before a huge welcome & celebration back at basecamp after a momentous journey. You’ll get full support & hospitality, optional camping / hostel – and with half, marathon, quarter & 10K distance options also, there’s a Lake District Challenge for everyone!

We would love you to join Team Willow. We ask that you pledge to raise the minimum fundraising target displayed on this page and in return we’ll provide all the support you need to make your challenge a huge success.

If you have already secured your own place in the event we would love for you to join our team! You will receive the same support as a charity place participant and there is no fundraising target, we simply ask that you raise as much as you can. Entry fee options explained

Option 1 – Sponsorship for Charity – Pay a low registration fee and meet our minimum sponsorship requirements.

Option 2 – Mixed funding for Charity – A lower fundraising target and you pay half the event place cost.

Option 3 – Self Funding – You pay the full cost of the entry fee. There is no fundraising target associated with this option but we ask that you raise as much as you can for Willow.

For people living with serious illness, spending quality time together and making memories with loved ones is all that matters. The money you raise will help to continue providing Special Days for seriously ill young adults aged 16-40 at a time when they are needed the most.
