On Friday 3 October, Willow hosted the London Ryder Cup at East Herts Golf Club in Buntingford. Despite the rain, spirits stayed high as teams teed off for a fantastic day of golf, raising an incredible £16,000 to help provide special experiences for seriously ill young adults.
Guests were joined on the course by football legends from Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs and West Ham for 18 holes of golf around the stunning East Herts course. The day began with breakfast on arrival before a shotgun start, followed by a delicious two-course buffet lunch and charity auction.
Willow’s brilliant auctioneer, Aaron James, kept the energy high throughout, giving the fundraising total a healthy boost to support our work.
A huge thank you to Dan Field, Willow’s Pro Golf Ambassador, and East Herts Golf Club for hosting, to our football legends for taking part, and to all guests who braved the weather for a good cause.
